Here are some reviews from our values customers:
| "Reliability in any restaurant is a cardinal virtue, particularly where a cuisine other than one's own is concerned. The host of compliments received from both regular and new customers at Bhangra is a sure indication this has been achieved." The Restaurant Guide, www.restaurant-guide.com | |
| "On the day I moved to the area, I visited Bhangra Beats as there was no food at home. I was pleasantly surprised by the smart look of the restaurant. I was greeted by a friendly waiter who promptly seated me to my table and before long I was munching on my poppadoms which were served with seven different chutneys and sauces. The tall, cool Cobra was just what I needed at the end of a stressful day. I ordered the prawn pepper fry for starters, which turned out to be tangy and spicy with a generous helping of king prawns. I was nicely set up for my main course, the jungle curry, which had an unusual ginger hot flavour, gave my taste buds a real work out. The side dishes of sag aloo, lemon rice and coriander naan were perfect accompaniments. I wish there was gulab jamun on the menu - this delicate and extremely sweet Indian dessert is my favourite. Overall this is a smart local Indian which serves authentic and fusion Indian cuisine at a reasonable price. The ambiance though quiet on a week night must be good on weekends. I will definitely go back - probably on a Saturday night to check out the live music. Keep it up Bhangra Beats!" Mukto, www.restaurant-guide.com | |
